Receptionist/Cover Class Assistant
Job description
Ensuring safe entry and exit of students
Professionally responding to parents in person/by phone or message services
Marking and recording work
Guiding students in class some days to develop a full understanding
Undertake other administrative tasks as required
Helping maintain a clean and safe working environment
Uphold policies, including, but not limited to safeguarding and risk assessments
Relate well to children from age 3 to 16
Candidates must have a minimum GCSE grade B or equivalent in English and maths. An A level or equivalent in either would be advantageous. Candidates will be asked to undertake an assessment in maths and English.
The successful applicant will be required to hold or undertake a DBS check
Hours of Work:
Tuesday to Thursday 15.15 to 18.45
Saturday 9.15 to 12.45
Additional hours as required, approximately fortnightly, or weekly in busy periods:
Saturday 13.15 to 17.30 (sometimes earlier)
Friday 15.00 to 18.30 (occasionally 20.00)
Candidates must be available for all these hours. There is the possibility of extra hours and more responsibility as the study centre grows.
Please note that due to nature of job and interview hours, interviews will commence before deadline and the position may be closed early.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 13-20 per week
Salary: £10.45-£11.00 per hour
