Job Description


What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist with a “can do” attitude and excellent communication skills to join our friendly BC Recovery Centre team in Romford. You will have previous experience in a similar role and enjoy being the main point of contact for the site and providing a warm welcome to our visitors.

What’s on offer?

  • Location: Romford
  • Salary: Up to £21k per annum DoE
  • Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
  • Hours: 37.5 hrs per week
  • Schedule: 09:00 – 17:30, Monday – Friday
  • Working Style: Office Based

In this exciting role, you will act as the primary point of contact and receive visitors to our Recovery Centre site in a courteous and welcoming manner. You will also be responsible for managing the site diary and ensuring all appropriate Health and Safety and Security procedures are consistently complied with.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

  • Acting main point of contact for all site visitors, contractors and staff.
  • Ensuring the reception area is welcoming, clean and tidy.
  • Ensuring all visitors are ID verified and then issued with a relevant visitors pass.
  • Responsible for controlling the security of the building facilities to an acceptable company standard; including liaising with the security providers at the start and end of each working day sharing appropriate handover notes.
  • Answering all phone calls as quickly and efficiently as possible in a professional, polite manner.
  • Scheduling, co-ordinating and organising meeting rooms as required.
  • Assisting with general site administrative tasks as required and preparing for monthly reporting.
  • Maintaining a strict registration process with all card/keys issuing.
  • Liaising with dedicated customers when 3rd party access is required to suites and data centre.
  • Assisting with any other duties as required by the Centre Manager to ensure the site is always fully operational and prepared for customer invocations.

Qualifications


Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Intermediate MS Office Skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
