Job description
County Vets is a mixed practice veterinary surgeons with 2 surgeries, one in Maybole and one in Ayr. This is a full time position at our Ayr branch working Monday - Friday plus one Saturday morning per month at our Maybole branch.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Reception duties - Dealing with clients and their pets on a daily basis by phone and face to face
Paperwork - invoicing, stock control, admin etc.
The ideal applicant must have the following skills and attributes:
Excellent communication skills and telephone manner.
Ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment.
Previous experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial
Good level of IT literacy is essential
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
Honest, organised and highly motivated
Kind and sympathetic manner to clients and their animals
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
