Job description
We are OoshhStudio, we are actively seeking ambitious and experienced Kitchen Designers to start immediately and operate within our fantastic new facility, designing and supplying mid and high-end Kitchens, within our 400 year old building. We supply both British and German kitchens with an average sale value of £30,000-£40,000.
Ooshh was nominated and is currently a finalist within KBB Review awards for: New Kitchen Retailer of the Year 2022
Ooshh was established by a young architect who grew tired of the sales-hungry kitchen industry that is often run by dinosaurs, who regularly pump out uninspiring kitchen concepts. "I was working as an architect by day and a kitchen fitter in my freetime. The two passions crossed over and I spotted a major gap within the market. Usually the architect is disconnected to the kitchen design process and only places a rough illustration onto the plan... bringing my skills across and offering both aspects within our design studio, allows us to create more innovative and coherent designs overall, by providing both the planning permission and the kitchen design.” We like exceeding client expectations by delivering concepts they had not previously thought of.
Customer service is at the very heart of our business and this will play an integral part of your role. We’re definitely not a “hard sales” environment but lead by design. We of course do need to keep new business coming in, so you should be motivated by both selling as well as design. We're a collaborative team that helps to motivate each other's strengths.
Since the business started, we have had more work and enquiries than we can handle, this is part of the reason why we’ve not yet done any marketing and why you won’t find any signage on our shop front, as we have consistently struggled to keep up with the demand for our services. We’re actively looking to grow the kitchen design team to help relieve the pressure.
We currently have a small in-house marketing and content team dedicated towards building our social media and our online presence, so that we can become known as the leading experts within the industry. Some of our content is receiving over 800,000 views and we’ve barely scratched the surface with what we plan to do online. Having more kitchen designers onboard will help to free-up the directors time, so that he can focus more time on directing the team and growing the business.
