40 Hour Week (Monday - Friday 8:00am start)
We are currently looking for a Receptionist for our Reading depot who will be responsible for the day to day control and management of the Innovation Centre site reception, ensuring excellent standards are maintained.
As the Receptionist within our Reading Depot, you’ll be a key member of our team – welcoming visitors to the depot and escorting visitors to Innovation Centre Kitchen where they will be met by colleagues. You’ll make sure that the reception area is always tidy and presentable for our visitors, who you’ll greet in a friendly and professional manner. In addition to responding to internal and customer incoming calls, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the meeting room calendar and ensuring the Health & Safety of conference rooms and toilet facilities are at the appropriate standard. In addition you’ll ensure the coffee bar in the Innovation centre is open and ready for the day ahead, replenishing stock for the coffee bar in the Innovation centre when needed. This role will also provide general administrative duties to support the Distribution Centre and HR, Support Kitchen Manager when required to cover annual leave of colleagues which brings diversity and variety to this position.
To join us as the Receptionist in Reading, you will have excellent customer service skills, great attention to detail, and be PC literate with a working knowledge of Outlook, and Microsoft Office. Start time will be 8am but we are looking for someone with flexibility either side to be reliable to meet the needs of the Centre. You’ll be willing to learn new skills, have a great work ethic and you’ll enjoy working to support the wider team. You will be resilient – able to stay positive in difficult situations and you will naturally embrace an inclusive working environment and be committed to doing the right thing.
