About the role
There are opportunities in the accountancy team within the Finance and Procurement Service for highly motivated and skilled individuals to come and work in a fast paced and dynamic financial environment, working with and supporting a range of Council services.
The roles will involve budgeting, financial monitoring, account closure, providing financial advice to budget holders, and financial management of grant funding. The roles require some fluency in Welsh, as the majority of the work is done through the medium of Welsh.
Our offer to you
In exchange for your skills and commitment we will offer you a range of employee benefits including competitive annual leave allowance, generous pension contribution scheme, lifestyle savings, discounted gym membership and much more. Information about the employee benefits we offer can be found here.
We also believe work-life balance is very important. To support you in achieving this, you will have access to the following discretionary benefits:
- Hybrid Working: Subject to certain conditions being met, you may choose to work from home (within the UK) or in an office location.
- Flexi-time: Hours may be worked within a defined bandwidth, Monday to Friday, subject to service needs.
Although these opportunities are advertised as 37 hours per week, consideration would be given to term time working arrangements due to the nature of the work mainly relating to supporting Schools in Ceredigion.
