Our client are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic Receptionist for their practice in central Henley on a full time basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a busy, family run team. Experience is not essential as full training is provided but you will need excellent communication skills and to be comfortable using various computer programmes.
The Role:
- Keeping the practice organised, tidy, clean and stocked.
- Creating, updating, and organising paper and electronic records.
- Scanning, sending, and receiving reports, referral letters, clinic data and other correspondence.
- Processing post, orders for goods, invoices from suppliers, and payments.
- Use of till - taking cash, cheque and card payments, end of day cashing up and reporting.
- Setting up and amending Direct Debit payments.
- Being the first point of contact - for patients, suppliers, and outside organisations.
- Managing appointments in the diary – taking, amending bookings, and confirming bookings.
- Providing basic advice to patients regarding their clinical and optical care and charges (full training given).
- Preparing consulting rooms for clinics; closing down rooms after clinics.
- Performing pre and post exam/ clinic admin procedures.
- Assisting with frame selections and frame display organisation.
- Processing orders for glasses, contact lenses and arranging patient collection.
You will be working on a rota basis, covering 5 days per week between Monday-Saturday. You will not be required to work late evenings or Bank Holidays and the practice is closed between Christmas and New year.
