This is a 09:00-17:00 Reception role based at Petherton Resource Centre.
We are looking for a confident and robust individual to perform an essential role in what can be a pressured environment as a central point of contact, dealing with incoming calls, meet and greet services users, visitors and staff. Operation of the computer based room bookings system and building management related activities such as retention of compliance.
The role will provide a central point for the site as well as provision of front of house reception duties. You will be dealing directly with members of the public, carers, services user and their families as well as staff.
We are looking for excellent communication and organisation skills together with a confident and pleasant telephone manner. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure are vital in this often busy role.
Administration tasks included with the role require PC Skills, including Microsoft Office suite. Previous experience of working in a reception environment is required, however full training can be provided.
The role will suit an enthusiastic 'can-do' person and a keen team player, some understanding of mental healthcare service provision is desirable.
The ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle is desirable.

First point of contact for phone calls into the location, transferring calls, taking accurate messages and escalating as appropriate.
Meeting and greeting patients and visitors.
Advising clinicians when their patients have arrived.
Room bookings.
Making sure the clinic rooms have everything they need.
Signing for deliveries.
Reporting building defects.
