Your New Role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Receptionist to join our Complex Facilities team in our London, Furnival Street office. This is an on-site, permanent opportunity.

The Receptionist plays an extremely important role within the team. You will be the face of Amey, representing our London, Furnival Street, meeting and greeting some of our most important customers, both internally and externally. You will be tasked to manage and provide front of house services including reception duties, booking meetings rooms and key admin functions.

The standard hours of work are 37.5 hours based on Monday – Friday.

You will be responsible for:

  • The daily operation of reception
  • Answering all calls, promptly and professionally
  • Taking messaging and directing them to the correct individual, whilst retaining ownership
  • Taking meeting rooms requests, as well as managing car park bookings
  • Raising POs in SAP
  • Ordering equipment when required (IT, PPE etc)
  • Raising callouts for contractors as needed
  • Completing monthly reports
  • Completing office safety checks

We want to hear from you if you have:

  • Previous experience as a receptionist would be highly desirable
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organised individual
  • Approachable, friendly and professional
  • The ability to prioritise workload and multi task.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft suite
