Receptionist/Administrator
Job Overview
Reporting to the HR Projects Manager, the Receptionist/Administrator will be the first point of
contact for visitors arriving to reception and will ensure that visitors are greeted and their
Norbrook point of contact notified. The receptionist/Administrator will deal with regular
queries, answer phone calls (internal and external), deal with incoming and outgoing post
and deal with incoming deliveries. The post holder will also play a key role in facilitating
communication between departments, clients and colleagues and will work closely with the
HR team, carrying out a range of administrative tasks.
Job Duties:
- Greeting visitors on arrival at reception and notifying the relevant point of contact
- Answering internal and external phone calls and transferring to the appropriate
- Deal with incoming and outgoing post including parcel deliveries
- Responding to queries in a timely manner
- Assisting the HR team with duties e.g printing, raising purchase orders, photocopying
- Maintaining the reception area and keeping adequate stock of basic office supplies for
Essential Criteria:

- Previous experience in a similar position
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work with people across all
levels of the organisation
- Ability to work alone, use own initiative and take responsibility for own work area
- Ability to build rapport with colleagues, contacts and visitors
- Strong IT skills, proficient in all outlook packages
