About the Role
Stowhealth has an opportunity for a receptionist to join our team on a part-time basis for 16-20 hours per week, with an additional 3- 4 Saturdays per year, paid as over-time.
- To greet patients at the reception desk and deal with their enquiries in a professional manner;
- To instruct patients on the correct use of the automatic check-in machine;
- To make, alter and update appointments for patients on the computer systems, according to set protocols;
- To extract, accurately, and re-file patient records, as and when required;
- To handle telephone enquiries in a professional manner;
- To provide advice and information to all users of, and visitors to, Violet Hill House and associated health teams;
- To provide holiday and sickness cover for the reception team;
- To keep the reception area and desk efficient and tidy;
- To pass on relevant information to team members to ensure continuity of care and staff efficiency;
- To maintain security and confidentiality of persons, equipment and information.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about offering great customer service and enjoy working as part of a team. Reception and SystmOne experience is desirable, but not essential, as full training will be given. Applicants should have grade A to C in maths and English GCSE, or equivalent.About Us
