Job description
An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Reception Supervisors within the Residential Services Department of the University. The Reception Supervisor is responsible for the day to day supervision of staff on site to include Customer Services Assistants and to assist with administration for Wardens and Domestic Staff. You would provide supervision and ensure the effective line management of staff, be a competent user of University administrative computer systems and would need to maintain working contacts, internal and external to the University, supporting your Hall Management Team. You would also work alongside and provide administrative services to the pastoral support team of Wardens and Residential Advisors. You will ensure with a variety of stakeholder, both internal and external to the University, that the excellent standards of the service is maintained. You should have 3 GCSE¿s or equivalent at grade C or above including English and Mathematics.
Working hours will be 10am to 6pm Monday to Friday with the expectation of weekend work during busy operation seasonal periods and ad hoc overtime may also be available.
