We have an exciting opportunity for Sales Assistants based at our Bristol store. We are offering permanent contracts working 16 hours a week. You'll be joining a close-knit team passionate about life at home!

WHAT WE OFFER

• IKEA is a Living Wage Foundation Employer (£10.90 an hour).
• Permanent contract working 16 hours per week, worked over 4 days a week typically, and will involve mainly late evening shifts (18:00pm - 22:00pm), as well as one in four weekends.
• We operate 7 days a week, and our busiest times where we meet our many customers is usually in the evenings and at the weekends.

WHO YOU ARE
You are confident in approaching customers, treating them in a polite and friendly manner. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and a motivated mindset. You also enjoy working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. For this role, it is important that you are passionate about home furnishings and care about good customer service. In IKEA, we place great emphasis on leading others and ourselves with a positive approach, even during the busiest and most challenging times.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING DAY-TO-DAY

• You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
• You are always passionate about our product range and home furnishings, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
• You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented, and easy to shop.
