COMMERCIAL PROPERTY SOLICITOR (FAITH BASED INSTITUTIONS) - NEWCASTLE - 2+PQE

THE FIRM

• Impressive client base including large companies, owner managed businesses, healthcare professionals, leisure operators and rural businesses

THE ROLE

• You will be joining a well regarded Real Estate team, one of the largest in the region consisting of 7 talented Partners
• You will be working closely with the integrated ecclesiastical team, advising on matters of property, and charity law to the Anglican Dioceses of both Newcastle and Carlisle, the Methodist Church and other ecclesiastical and charitable organisations
• Examples of the kind of work you will be involved with include:
• Selling and buying ecclesiastical property
• Advising lay and clergy generally in relation to matters concerning ecclesiastical and charity property
• Leases including the grant of new leases and renewals
• Developments projects including overage
• You will have the opportunity to work on your own caseload, as well as assist other members of the team on larger more complex matters

THE REQUIREMENTS

• The successful applicant will be a qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial Property
• Experience dealing with ecclesiastical/charity based clients is NOT essential - but an interest in the area certainly is
• The ability to deal with a broad range of clients, along with the willingness to provide the highest standard of client care, is essential
