Join our trading business in a critical role analysing business data, diagnosing pain points, and creating solutions.
This is a unique opportunity to develop and build a network across multiple teams and manage a range of competing priorities and projects, in a dynamic environment.
Our data team ensures that the trading business maintains data appropriately with regards to completeness, quality and timeliness, as well as ensuring that data is compliant with global regulations and internal policies.
You will work closely with Technology, Finance and Businesses stakeholders to determine data requirements, assisting with implementation and testing changes.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring that data produced is complete, accurate, valid and relevant and analysing data to identify issues
- Designing resolutions and writing requirements
- Co-ordinating implementation of system and process changes
- Completing periodic reporting tasks and supporting a variety of change projects within CGM
- Delivering trade data to support a wide range of regulatory reporting requirements.
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bring 1-2 years experience of financial services or financial markets
- Have strong stakeholder communication – a vital part of this role
- Be expected to manage issues and approach tasks with resolution.
- Be familiar with financial products.
- Be highly numerate with an ability to interrogate, interpret and draw conclusions from multiple data sources
- Have an aptitude for identifying issues and determining solutions
- Have basic to intermediate coding skills (i.e. python), which is not essential, but will be beneficial.
- Convey complex and technical requirements to both peers and senior colleagues
