Night Reactive Scheduler

Position: Night Reactive Scheduler
Location: Slough, Berkshire
Job Type: Permanent, Full time
Hours: 38.5 hours, 4 nights on 4 nights off
Salary: £25,200

About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Scheduler to join our emergency response team, making sure our engineers reach customers in their hour of need when they are experiencing sewer and drainage problems- symptoms range from sewage spills to customers not being able to flush their toilets so what you will be doing really makes a difference. Lanes Group have recently won a new contract to provide this service to Thames Water, come and join our team as we embark on the next chapter.
Responsibilities :
Ensure jobs are ready to be dispatched to engineers
Jeopardy manage and progress chase engineers to ensure promises to customers are met and our KPI targets are delivered
Keep customers informed and updated to set expectations and advise of any delays or changes to timescales of engineer visits (both inbound and outbound calls)
Support engineers to ensure the outcome of their visit is successful
Escalate customer issues to ensure timely resolution, give customers the best possible experience and avoid complaints
Work in line with team processes and procedures
Essential skills or experience:
We are looking for people with good customer communication skills who enjoy making decisions and working in a fast paced environment. We need your problem solving and 'can-do attitude' we will give you the relevant training on our processes and the Salesforce system. We have a pathway program to develop your skills and help you progress with us.
