In our team you will learn:
- Provide technical guidance to our key customers to optimise their customer experience
- Help shape, sell and deliver projects that create tangible value for our customers across the telecoms space
- To use your knowledge and experience, working within market leading customer organisations to deliver high quality actionable insight.
As a RAN Engineer you will:
- Provide consultation and technical support to optimise performance of a cellular network (GSM, UMTS, LTE, NR) and troubleshoot radio, core and E2E issues
- Provide technical support and guidance/recommendations to customers
- Execute of wireless tests of different mobile device devices like smartphones and modems
- Create and execute test cases and organise field trials
- Identify potential issues of devices e.g., interoperability issues, compliance to 3GPP specs
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Knowledge of network planning and design, parameter tuning, neighbour maintenance, configuration audits, and capacity planning
- Experience of trace analysis capabilities including RAN tracing analysis and exposure to relevant tools (TEMS, Nemo, XCAL, etc.), Statistical Analysis (data drill down, scripting, etc.) and relevant tools (SQL, Tableau, etc.), device testing.
Set yourself apart:
- Ability to work on innovative projects with big name clients and make a difference from the word go
- Mastery of mobile network architecture, protocols and standards
- Proven history of working in testing, engineering, optimisation, design of similar performance preferably with a network operator or vendor
