You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as you will be dealing with a variety of patients and partner organisations. As the initial point of contact representing our exceptional services within East Staffordshire, it is important that you have a friendly and approachable manner with excellent call handling skills.
The role involves:
- Handling inbound calls from members of the public and healthcare professionals.
- Obtaining and inputting accurate information from the caller on to the EMIS system and relay this information to the appropriate services.
- Responsible for maintenance of computerised referrals.
- Booking clinics
- Working along side our experienced clinicians
- Ensuring a high level of customer care.
