Job description
Delivery Porter Required - Based in East Kilbride/ Glasgow, 7am starts. Experience required.
We are looking to add to our distribution teams and welcome applicants with a great work ethic and attitude to join our team.
You will be delivering larger items such as flat pack furniture, kitchen units, beds etc. so must be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved, also phoning customers to advise time slots so good customer service is a must.
Experience required of delivering furniture, larger items or white goods. Saturday working is required for this role and you must be able to commute to East Kilbride or Glasgow for 7am start.
Responsibilities include;
- Assiting in loading / unloading of van,
- Must be able to commute to East Kilbride/ Glasgow for 7am start Monday-Saturday,
- Deliver customers' items into room of choice carefully without damaging contents or property.
- Deliver freight as part of a two man delivery team.
- Call customers to advise time slots.
Preferable attributes:

- Must be physically fit as heavy lifting is involved

- Work quickly and efficiently, paying very close detail to the delicate items you may be handling

Salary: £80.00-£90.00 per day

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
