Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and capable person to join us in the X-ray department. The Health care assistants HCA) form part of a team comprising of radiologists, radiographers, nurses, RDA and clerical staff.
The role of the HCA is very varied – ranging from direct patient care in CT scanning or the Ultrasound suite, assisting with biopsies and drains, Pediatric Radiology .
This is a cross site position rotating to all 4 sites within the Trust- Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton, The Nelson Health Centre, St Johns Therapy Centre and St Georges Hospital.
You need to be flexible and adaptable, with good communication skills and a caring nature. You should be a good team worker, but comfortable with working independently and using your initiative.
