Job description

Come and join our large, friendly Radiology Department and you’ll find one of the most adaptable and innovative working environments anywhere in the UK. We have a comprehensive induction programme with mentorship which will help you to settle in and become a valued member of our team.

The successful candidate will be confident and competent at undertaking all aspects of Plain Imaging, being able to work in our busy Emergency Department, General X-Ray Department and Theatre, as well as performing Mobile Imaging on the wards. We have four General Rooms (two are GE, two are DR Shimadzu) where we image Inpatients, Outpatients and GP Patients. Our Emergency X-Ray Department is separate, with one large DR Shimadzu Room and a DR Shimadzu/Samsung hybrid X-Ray room as well as a dental room. We have a large fleet of Siemens Arcadis machines for theatre imaging, where we have a large orthopaedic workload, along with urology and pain lists.

Creating leaders and advancing our team is at the forefront of our departments strategy so we are looking for individuals who want to learn to be the future of radiography. Using our Trust values and our already established leadership team as mentors, we want to create and nurture future talent.

We are looking for individuals who want to work in a busy but supportive department with a outstanding, friendly team around them.

We also closely collaborate with St Georges and Kingston University, providing clinical placement and support to Radiography Students from each year group. Our apprenticeship programme is also established so new radiographers will be helping to teach the future additions of the team.

Our Radiographers are committed to providing excellent care, while developing and learning new skills! Come and join us!
