Job Title: Radio QC Technician
Education: ONC IT/Electronics or equivalent
Salary: £20K - £25K

The role of the Radio QC Technician is fundamentally to ensure the correct programming of customers communications equipment and carry out diagnostic repairs were required.
Responsibilities:
Technical
- To program customer radios ensuring they have the correct information.
- Liaise with customers in respect of maintenance / technical issues.
- Liaise with other departments i.e. Sales, Engineering & Stores in relation to customer orders.
- Ensure customer records are accurately recorded and maintained.
- Carry out full diagnostic test of Telecommunication equipment by utilizing the bench test sets.
- Ensure radios are full repaired down to component level.
- Aid the Hire department as and when required.
- Embrace change and provide constructive ideas for improving service, working methods and environment.
- Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the management of the company.
Customer Support
- Provide pre-sales and post sales product support as appropriate
- Effectively manage QC SOP’s and tickets, ensure tickets are raised in CRM and updated accordingly.
Health and Safety
- A good understanding of Health and Safety procedure and the ability to follow instructions.
Key Outcomes:
- Successfully deliver an outstanding service to all Avoira customers
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- At least 5 years’ experience in electronics / IT or experience in a similar environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines and service standards
- Ability to be flexible
- Ability to work as part of a team, also display high degree of autonomy
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
Desirable:
- ONC IT/Electronics or equivalent.
- Experience of PMR/DMR is not essential as full training will be provided.
- Experience of working to SLA’s.
- A full UK driving licence.
