About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse Key Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their career and join a global business with a £2 billion + turnover.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7am - 7pm and 7pm - 7am (rotating)

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • As a Warehouse Key Operative you will provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of the depot warehouse goods by completing various warehouse tasks, as safely, accurately and as efficiently as possible, upholding the highest standards of health and safety at all times
  • You will undertake receipt and checking of incoming stock in line with company goods in process, ensuring all label and temperature disciplines are completed appropriately and product is correctly located within the warehouse
  • You will ensure that all relevant paperwork, relating to Goods In/Goods Out/Picking is completed in full at all times and Ensure all waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, segregating waste as necessary
  • Undertaking MHE truck duties as required ensuring it is driven correctly at all times, you will ensure daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company warehouse guidelines observed

What are we looking for?

  • Previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential, specifically within a warehouse/manufacturing/pack house/produce background
  • You should have a Forklift Truck Licence and a good understanding of warehousing/store processes and procedures, along with the possession of manual handling training
  • With the ability to work under pressure you should also have good attention to detail and good communication skills
  • In order to be considered for this role, it is essential that you hold a valid driving licence
