What you’ll do:


We have a new, exciting opening for a Global Account Manager who will maintain and grow Eaton relationship within our global Distributed Control Systems(DCS) accounts, covering key function from Headquarters in to regions.

This position is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the EMEA region

Your key responsibilities:

  • Developing and executing a strategic roadmap for your accounts to deliver profitable sales growth and market share within the DCS account
  • Reporting to the Global Accounts Director and working with the regional sales leadership your focus will be on strategical engagement of global DCS accounts for the Eaton product offering
  • Engaging with commercial, marketing and product teams within Headquarters to ensure high visibility and engagement
  • You will also work within all sales regions to deliver penetration plans and increase our RFQ rates and market share
  • The Global Account Manager serves as the interface between Eaton and the DCS accounts for any strategic activities, coordinates and drives regular review calls as well as internally promoting the global account function and updating our sales & product teams on customer focus points

Qualifications:


  • Degree qualified in an appropriate field of expertise such as Business, Engineering or Technology for example, or have proven relevant experience. Further post-graduate qualifications such as an MBA would also be desirable
  • Ability to demonstrate a seasoned approached to strategic account management with a proven track record in achieving profitable growth across multiple products and countries
  • Previous experience working within the global harsh and hazardous process control, telecoms or fire and gas markets
  • Essential to have proven commercial, sales and customer relationship experience
  • Strong Technology and commercial understanding within major capital projects
  • Understanding of complex routes to market (End user, Integrator, channel)
  • Proven experience in developing and delivering strategic growth plans
  • Strong ability to influence, externally and internally
