Job description
This role is to work within a dynamic and high performing team on delivering compliance projects associated with the Gaviscon portfolio. This role will mainly focus on coordinating R&D activities required to support the implementation of key compliance or supply projects, such as raw material changes and method development/validation programmes.

- Project timeline, budget and resource management for projects
- Providing accurate technical support (analytical and formulation) for the projects
- Working with other teams globally across R&D, supply, quality and regulatory to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high quality.
- Working with 3rd parties and managing their activities
- Solving complex technical problems using experience, knowledge, research and advice.
- Reviewing analytical and module 3 data and documentation in line with current best practice and internal SOP requirements.
- Direct and indirect line management of up to 6 people, monitoring and encouraging their personal and professional growth and development
- R&D representative in cross functional discussions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the wider team with respect to compliance, H&S and audit readiness.
You’ll love it because… you’ve
- A relevant scientific degree such as Chemistry or Biological Science.
- Relevant experience of product development within an R&D Healthcare or FMCG environment
- Either formulation or analytical experience.
- Line management experience and successful track record of people development.
- Results orientated, self-motivated with an ability to evaluate and take risks.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask without compromising quality and delivery.
- Strong intellectual curiosity ability to think out of the box.
