KwizzBit is an interactive quiz app designed for quizzing anyone, on anything from anywhere. We are a B2B-technology company at the heart of Leeds’ technology eco-system which has garnered more than 500,000 players to play over 100,000 quizzes so far, and this is growing. Fast.

KwizzBit primarily supplies the UK hospitality industry. However, we are quickly building strong foundations in other sectors including charity, business, events, brand activations and direct-to-consumer. Our client portfolio has grown rather impressive – if we do say so ourselves – as we have worked with mega-companies like Nintendo, Amazon, Meta and more.

The business is currently in an exciting phase of growth. In the past 18 months we utilised our 1st round of investment to develop KwizzBit into one-of-a-kind trivia platform capable of live-streaming quiz games with up to 100,000 players in a single game.

We are now looking for a quiz writer to join our growing team who can research, write and quality-check quiz questions that will be played by thousands of people every week.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Writing weekly quiz questions on a wide variety of topics including general knowledge, music, movies, TV and other themes.
Researching a wide range of topics to create accessible quiz questions for our users and clients.
Ensuring all quiz questions are of a high-standard by testing for spelling and grammatical errors.
Managing the annual quiz calendar to ensure all quizzes are written, tested and published on time.
Analysing performance of quiz content to inform future quiz writing.
Building the quiz calendar alongside our Head of Marketing to align quiz releases with our digital marketing strategy.
Generating new quiz ideas and topics we haven’t yet discovered.
Staying up to date with the latest trends to find what quizzes people would love to play and reacting to them. (Who knew Squid Game would be so popular before it came out?)

What skills we’re looking for:

A love of trivia, quizzing and learning something about pretty much anything.
The ability to research and understand a wide range of topics and break information into question-sized chunks.
Strong writing skills with the ability to write high-quality quiz content that’s accessible to a wide audience.
An excellent grasp of the English language with a keen eye for spelling and grammar.
A creative streak for developing quiz topics and question formats.
Strong level of digital literacy & IT skills.
Excellent organisational & time management skills for regularly completing tasks to fixed deadlines.
(Desired, not required) A basic understanding of design software for creating image-based questions.
(Desired, not required) Basic data & analytical skills for evaluating quiz performance and informing future decisions
