Your role

Are you an innovative thinker? Do you enjoy a fast paced environment where you can directly contribute to the success of the desk? If so we're looking for someone like that who can work with trading, structuring, sales and the rest of the quant team to:
  • Design and develop tools for trading to help them better manage and hedge their risk
  • Enhance strategy calculations to provide better insight into behaviour and performance
  • Aid in transforming the calculation stack to remove duplications and migrating onto a strategic architecture
  • Provide subject knowledge expertise for clients, third party calculation agents and our internal platform team

Your team

You'll be working in the Quantitative Analytics group in London to support the QIS business. The group works closing with trading, structuring, sales and IT to design new strategies and take them from conception into production and then post production support.

Your expertise

  • Knowledge of different asset classes, especially vanilla derivatives
  • Experience in writing applications in Python with knowledge of Excel / VBA
  • Knowledge of Q/KDB an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team spirited and looking to contribute and perform in a FO environment
