Location: This is a peripatetic position so you can be based anywhere, if you are prepared to travel across Wales and Southwest England as required
Working hours: Minimum 35 hours per week – Mon-Fri, ability to be flexible with hours when required
Salary details: Up to £35,517 per annum (Nationwide) or Up to £39,779 per annum (London-based) (Dependent upon experience)

One of the UK’s most inspiring and best-known faith-based organisations, The Salvation Army, is currently recruiting for Quality Performance Manager to join our Employment Services Team.
This role will be supporting Wales and Southwest England (including Carmarthen, Cardiff, Rhyl, Bristol, Hampshire, Somerset, Devon) – this is one of two vacancies, the other is Midlands-based (advertised separately).
You will be joining an established friendly team, responsible for improving quality across a network of Employment Advisors. (Some travel will be required – a full driving licence and access to a car is desirable).
Key Responsibilities: You will be managing the quality, compliance, claims, and learning and development within your allocated regions. You will review and monitor operations by auditing records and activities, providing feedback and guidance. The role requires you to work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
You will support our ongoing accreditation with various Quality Standards (ISO9001 and Matrix). You will also be key in training, coaching and mentoring staff across the team while working closely with The Salvation Army’s Learning and Development team (SISTAD).
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience with firm but sensitive tackling of poor compliance
- Ability to investigate, document, and maintain records accurately
- Experience with planning and delivering staff training
- Excellent people skills and ability to communicate professionally to a range of stakeholders
- Good decision making, planning and organisational skills
- Strategic, methodical, logical and detail oriented
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
- Level 4 qualification (or equivalent experience)
