Job description

This is a great opportunity to join a growing IT support business, involved right at the heart providing customer support at 1st and 2nd line with the flexibility to take ownership of any situation.

The right candidate will possess :-

• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic
• Previous experience in a 2nd line support capacity
• Problem solving and attention to detail

Experience

• Providing remote support to end users
• Troubleshooting with respect to Windows, Mac and Microsoft Office applications along with peripherals
• Supporting and configuring server solutions including Windows, Exchange and virtualisation e.g. VM Ware
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Back up solutions and principles
• Preventative maintenance on PCs, networks and servers
• Office 365
• Network devices such as wireless routers and firewalls

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £23,000.00-£26,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Kingston upon Hull: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
