To ensure high quality service to our customers around the globe, we have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Lead to join our European Headquarters in Swindon.
This newly created role will have the ability to drive change and make impact through introducing and championing quality processes within our Swindon plant. This is a hands on role, with autonomy to be the ‘Quality Specialist’ within the Company.
Key Accountabilities
- Initial assessment of quality standards within the Company.
- Identify opportunities for impact within quality.
- Introduce systems, procedures, and methods to evaluate and improve the quality of products, materials, components, or manufacturing.
- Implement KPIs and product data analysis reports. Be able to obtain manufacturing data, analyse and present quality trends, making recommendations for improvement activities.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives within the business and facilitate projects.
- Be an ambassador for Quality in the business and support the teams with hands on practical guidance and training in the business efforts to reduce scrap, rework and a "right first time" philosophy.
- Carry out root cause analysis investigations using common tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys etc.) that have arisen from product non-conformities resulting in corrective and preventive actions.

- Someone with the ability to drive change and efficiencies through effectively influencing, coaching and collaborating with others.
- Significant experience of working with a 'quality' role in a manufacturing/engineering environment.
- Knowledge and experience of applying tools such as 8D, Ishikawa and 5 Whys to conduct root cause analysis.
- Degree/HND/HNC in relevant engineering discipline desirable.
- A balanced hands on as well as analytical approach, with high attention to detail, exceptional time management and organisational skills.

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
