Responsibilities
As a Quality Manger you'll be working within the Major Projects team and will initially be involved in the ECI phase of a major defence sector project.
Your day to day will include:
- Work with the project team to manage the implementation of the Quality Management System to drive compliance with contract quality requirements and conformity of the works.
- You’ll ensure the Quality Management System is maintained across all levels and ensure audits are undertaken in accordance with the Audit Schedule.
- You’ll provide effective communications on quality matters and review/evaluate Inspection & Test plans.
- You’ll also liaise with the client’s quality representative to ensure agreement and understanding of the project quality and LTQR requirements.
- Promote integrated working with other members within the project to create a one-team ethos, including development of team members.
Who are we looking for?
This role of Quality Manager is great for you if:
- You have relevant qualifications – HND or degree level, or equivalent experience
- Demonstrable knowledge of and experience in application of quality control activities
- Excellent communication skills including leading and managing quality teams
