What you will be doing...
Our HR Advisor will provide generalist HR advice, support and guidance to Managers within the designated business areas and to provide ongoing support to the HR Business Partner in their role.
What will you do in the role?
Our HR Advisor will Take Responsibility for keeping changes updated in employment law and HR best practice, ensuring that the advice and support given is accurate and up to date. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining ER Case Management information and reporting, ensuring accurate and up-to-date recording on Open HR e.g. Departure Interviews, Fact Finds, Disciplinary, Grievance, Flexible Working and Appeals. You will also: -
- Develop and build relationships with the key stakeholders both within the designated area and cross functionally to ensure that all stakeholders are engaged with the HR team
- Act as the first point of contact for general HR queries, providing accurate and timely advice
- Identify where HR issues/ queries need to be escalated and referring them to the appropriate level of HR Management to ensure the relevant action is taken
- Coach business areas to reach conclusions/decision making
- Advise on ER issues ensuring they are managed and resolved at the appropriate level
- Take formal minutes and actions to be shared in a reasonable timescale for the communication groups (not limited to)
- Manage and co-ordinate the production and publication of the communication group newsletter
- Monitor, analyse and report on key HR Data/KPIs such as turnover of staff, sickness absence etc, identifying from the data key trends and working with the HR Business Partner to identify and address any underlying issues
- Create, develop and update internal HR policies and procedures (How to Manage guides) on key HR processes as and when required to ensure consistency and efficiency of service within the HR Team
- Lead and manage the end-to-end process of the Communication group publications and meetings
Our HR Advisor will have a proven track record of HR generalist experience working in a fast-paced environment. Ideally, you will have a previous track record in an airline business or a high-energy environment. You will also: -
- Have good commercial awareness
- Be experienced at successfully managing and prioritising workloads
- Be able to work under pressure and have a high degree of resilience
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Work cross-functionally
- Have excellent relationship management skills
- Have up to date knowledge of employment law
- Have organisational skills
- Have skills in using Microsoft Office

Frequent travel to UK and Overseas bases is required.
