Pacific Support Services is looking for cleaning operative to work in one of our schools in Reigate, RH2.
You will be working in a team of cleaning operatives within the school. Carrying out general cleaning to areas of the school.
Pay rate: £12/hr
Work times are 15:30 - 18:30
Hours per day :3
Hours per week: 15
Work days: Monday - Friday
Additional hours are available
Purpose of the role: The main purpose is to provide a professional, comprehensive cleaning service for the client site and ensure all facilities are clean and ready to use. As part of our team of key workers you will make sure to keep the school safe, clean, and hygienic to ensure that the children who go there have the perfect environment to thrive in. Every member of the team is responsible for a different section of the school, where we clean a variety of areas, such as classrooms, hallways and toilets.
Responsibilities:
· Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around the school.
· Cleans floors and rooms. Including dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, picking up larger objects off the floor, and spot cleaning glass and windows.
· Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
· Vacuums, empty trash, and replaces liners.
· Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
· Monitors and maintains sanitation and organisation of assigned areas.
Requirements:
· Must hold Right to Work in the UK
· Have previous cleaning experience - if you’ve got cleaning experience that would be perfect, but don’t worry, if not we will provide all the training you need.
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate – this is preferable but not a must, we can always apply for a new Enhanced DBS Certification for you
· Provide two professional references
