We are a manufacturing and engineering company based in Benfleet.We offer over 70 years of manufacturing Vacuum Formed products, Fibreglass Mouldings, Rim Moulding with Machining, Assembly, Prototypes, Jigs & Fixtures with CMM inspection before dispatchWe are currently looking to fill a position within the company for a Part Quality Control Inspector and PackerDuties include but not limited to:Maintain QC in line with customer requirements and business standardsSupport and promote business improvement activitiesWork with cross functional teamsUse hand held measuring equipment such as verniers, callipers, height gauges, bore microcenters and DTI as part of daily roleLabelling goods as instructed and trained to.Lots of quality checking before products are sent out to Clients and Customers daily.Completing relevant paperwork as shown.The successful applicant will need tohave a high attention to detail as products need to be finished to a high standardbe able to follow instructionswork as part of a team as well as using own initiativebe able to problem solveMaintaining a tidy and safe work area at all times.Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.Salary dependent on experienceMonday - Friday 7:00am - 15:30pmJob Types: Permanent, Full-timeSalary: From £10.50 per hourBenefits:Company pensionFree parkingOn-site parkingSchedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayOvertimeWeekend availabilityAbility to commute/relocate: Benfleet: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)Work Location: In person
