Advinia Healthcare are recruiting for a brand new position within their quality team.
Key responsibilities
- Remote ongoing reviewing of high-risk homes on PCS, MED e-care and Radar.
- Support to collate data from the systems and produce heatmaps.
- Remote and ongoing review of homes Service Improvement Plans.
- Reviewing outstanding action for homes and escalating these to the Home Manager and Divisional Director.
- Reviewing all high risk events recorded on Radar and following up on appropriate action being taken.
- Coordinate the Company’s Policy management system and forms and templates.
- Coordinates the Audit Programme and highlight where shortfalls are identified.
- Coordinate Registered Manager and Registered Services certificates of registration and monitor for any changes, update databases as necessary
- Ensure relevant regulatory notifications, safeguardings and complaints are escalated as necessary to the relevant quality manager and divisional director.
- Ensure relevant safety alerts are cascaded and follow up on any action required.
- Support the Governance team with records management and access requests
- Provide a text processing [typing], and excel workbook service to the Governance Team, as and when required.
- Ensure reports, required by the Governance team, are produced in a timely manner.
- Ensure reports for the Governance meetings are collated, presented and disseminated to other relevant agencies in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide a note taking facility at the Governance meetings.
- Keep Governance files and records up to date and in order, raising any anomalies or queries with the Line Manager.
- Develops and maintains governance registers, log and spreadsheet on excel
- To observe all relevant Company guidelines, policies and procedures
- Demonstrate a caring and respectful approach to the residents; their family, colleagues and other professionals
- Communicate and liaise with all staff in the Company, providing them with information as appropriate
- Bring to the attention of the line manager unethical and unsatisfactory behaviour or performance of staff
- Provide information to the other departments within the organisation e.g. Finance, Operations, Human Resources, Property etc., in accordance with Company policy and as and when requested.
- Maintain an excellent standard of communication with other internal departments and external contacts.
- Maintain personal up to date knowledge and attend all mandatory training.
- Ensure relevant electronic equipment is maintained and in good working order.
- Ensure all company policies and procedures registers and reviews are maintained, within the Department, in accordance with the Governance requirements.
- To immediately report high risk accidents and/or incidents and/or complaints to Head of Quality
- Contribute to the achievement of the Company aims, objectives and initiatives in a positive and cohesive manner.
- Contribute to achieving the ‘outcome targets’ of the Quality agenda.
- To fulfil relevant legislative requirements e.g. Health & Safety
- To carry out other duties as required commensurate to the post and grade.
- Observe the principles of the Data Protection Act and maintain confidentiality of information and data relating to; individuals within our care, our staff, our service and our Company.
- Assist the Governance department in administrative tasks as required
- Travels to meetings and events as required to fulfil duties
