We seek an experienced quality control manager to supervise a project based out of Camp Parks, CA from start to finish. Contingent upon award.
Mandatory Requirements:
- USACE CQMC Certificate Required
- Five (5) years USACE / NAVFAC / VA Projects QCM Experience Required
- Knowledge in construction methods, practices, schedules, logistics, and budgets
- Current safety credentials: OSHA 30 or USACE EM 385-1-1 and First Aid/CPR required
- LEED Experience preferred (certification a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced setting
- Professional demeanor in person, online, and via phone with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- U.S. citizenship or U.S permanent resident status required
An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all federal construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other relevant parties such as architects and engineers
- Ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget guidelines
- Ensuring that project managers are adequately trained and have the necessary resources to complete their tasks
- Reviewing blueprints, sketches, and other plans for compliance with applicable building codes
- Making sure that all work performed meets industry standards for quality
- Reviewing bids from contractors to determine which ones will be awarded contracts
- Managing a team of construction inspectors, ensuring that they are performing their jobs effectively
- Reviewing contractor bids for accuracy and adherence to building codes and specifications
- Inspecting work sites to ensure that projects are being performed according to plans
Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
