Key Responsibilities

ABOUT THE JOB

Fundamentally, this job involves taking overall responsibility for:

• Developing & maintaining test scripts ensuring compatibility with any newly developed platform features · Execute/Analyse test cases and document software defects · Regression test execution for new development, patches and existing releases. · Liaise with developers and other departments as required on items relating to product quality · To work within the product and client delivery teams to ensure requirements are concise and testable · To manage the test environments throughout the Software Development Life Cycle · To deliver daily dynamic reporting of test results and clearly explain the results and test status at any time · To facilitate internal test and quality related workshops · To help further develop a culture that is centred on customer satisfaction and product quality · Familiar with testing tools; Jira, Microsoft VSTS/ Dev Ops, HQ ALM, Test Manager, stress stimulus · Report to management while delivering QA Reports: Test Plan, Test Strategy, Exit/Entry Criteria

Our Team consists of 34 people who have a wide range of experience, technical, commercial and managerial at a range of levels from graduates to senior consultants. As a Quality Assurance tester, you will join the team and work with them and our customers closely.

We are looking for someone with demonstrable testing experience. You will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills and be results focused. You will understand different approaches when gathering requirements in both waterfall and agile projects.

PAY

As an experienced Quality Assurance tester, we expect to pay you what you feel you are worth and how we feel you can help our team. We assess seniority relative to the existing team at Codec during the interviewing process and will offer you a competitive salary and benefits package relative to our existing team.
