Quality Assurance Officer

Primary Responsibilities
- Supported by the wider IGRC Team, maintain an up-to-date knowledge of quality methodologies and appropriate regulatory developments (applicable to BSHF).
- Support in the development and delivery of training for all colleagues across the business. Target key areas through training needs analysis, and work closely with our People Success Team to roll out a Quality Management training package.
- Develop and support every aspect of an internal audit quality system, from risk-based audit planning, implementation, reporting, feedback, and re-auditing.
- Conduct quality audits across the Group, delivering against a defined audit plan, providing actionable audit outputs that drive quality improvements across the business.
- Review and approve quality documentation across the Group, keeping it up to date; e.g. policies and processes.
- Provide clear and concise reporting to key stakeholders; e.g. Senior Managers, Executive Committee, etc.
- Take the lead on 1st line ISO assurance/reaccreditation audits, and control testing; e.g. ISO9001 and 27001 recertifications.
- Work closely with the wider IGRC Team to plan, carry out, implement, and report on control testing measures of BHSF functions across the Group.
- Identify areas for process improvements and make recommendations for resolution.
- Gather customer and client feedback from customer facing teams through regular surveys at key touch points in any given process to identify opportunities to improve the consumer experience.
- Work with product and project stakeholders to scope the required tests, design the test strategy and estimate the overall test effort (size, approach, and schedule, etc.).
- Conduct the execution of test cases. Actively monitor and analyse test results to discover and report any non-conformance, process breakdowns or inefficiencies.
- To monitor reported Risk Incidents and provide feedback and guidance on quality as well as follow up on Actions.
Experience
- 3 years + of delivering QA and/or similar experience.
- Working knowledge of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act.
- Working knowledge of the FCA and PRA regulatory regimes.
- Working knowledge of auditing techniques and processes.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 and other quality methodologies.
- Experience of analysing data, providing summaries and explanation to non-technical colleagues.
- Creation and delivery of training materials to a range of stakeholders.
