Job description
Working within the Contract Electronics Manufacturing Industry, The Quality Assurance Manager has a key position within the Management Team for maintaining and developing the Integrated Management System, comprising AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001 and Health & Safety. In addition to this the job holder is responsible for developing improvements across the business leading to the reduction of waste, improving efficiency, profitability, health & safety and customer satisfaction.
The Quality Assurance Manager will have direct responsibility for ensuring that the required quality standards are met and adhered throughout the business. The Quality Assurance Manager will play a significant role in promoting the key business objective of a “total quality culture”.
Main responsibilities include:
- To host external customer, regulatory and certification audits
- To maintain the Company’s AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001 and customer certifications/approvals
- Maintain the internal & external audit programme.
- Develop customer or product specific Quality Plans
- Contract reviews to ensure quality requirements are identified and met.
- Ensure correct documentation is provided including FAIs etc
- Liaise with Customers dealing with but not limited to non-conformance related documentation.

Salary: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year

Experience:
- Quality management within electronics manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)
