Quality Assurance Analyst
Glasgow
As a Barclays Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a kery role in identifying and ensuring remediation of both policy and process errors. In your role, you will need to be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task, prioritize work assignments, communicate effectively with internal staff and clients, and complete assignments accurately and in a timely manner. You will also track trends to drive standardization across policies and processes globally, these trends will be used to develop and implement incremental training modules.

What will you be doing?
- Performing post-production sample testing for several areas including account servicing, KYC refresh and onboarding, US Patriot Act and Enhanced Due Diligence
- Communicating errors on such files to the respective QC Teams who performed the Quality Control review/task, ensuring clear understanding of errors made
- Serving as a functioning business analyst in collecting and providing project business requirements
- Evaluating and attesting that policies have been adhered to and that sound Anti Money Laundering (AML) judgment has been applied by Business as Ususal Analysts
- Identifying and implementing change that will result in process efficiency and potential cost savings
- Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with related Compliance, Finance, and Operations areas
- Driving resolution management where trends/errors occur, through training/procedure enhancements
- Liaising with counterparts in other locations to ensure timely, accurate, and complete sample populations within constrained deadlines
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in relevant field
- Expertise in AML/KYC or equivalent financial institution
- Understanding of MS Office applications and sound computer skills
- Experience of reporting to key stakeholders
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience of analysis and problem-solving
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Sound communication skills, both written and oral
- Understanding and experience in an audit/risk function or equivalent
