We have an opportunity at our Worthing depot, and as part of our team, you’ll fill an essential role in assisting in ensuring the depot's compliance with the company policies and procedures.
A bit about the role
- To co-ordinate all audit and facilitate maintenance activity within the depot to company standards.
- Ensuring all staff inductions and training are up to date and audit compliant.
- To ensure 100% compliance to internal and external site audit standards such as BRCGS, ISO 14001& 45001, environmental management system etc.
- To undertake the role of site health and safety officer, with responsibility for fire safety, food safety, pest control and environmental training standards.
- To assist and guide the depot management team in the completion of investigations and corrective actions in the event of accidents / near misses.
- To organise and coordinate the training for the depot within the areas above, and ensuring individual training records are up to date and maintained.
- To monitor standards and audit requirements to ensure full compliance, as well as highlighting areas of non-compliance to Depot QHSE Manager
- To demonstrate a proactive, problem solving and investigatory approach to resolve any areas of non-compliance.
A bit about you
To be success full in this role you will have similar experience of working within a health & safety or compliance role. Ideally possess IOSHH, HACCP level 3 and Level 3 auditing & inspection however training is available for the right candidate.
You will need to be a confident IT user, with excellent business administration and organisation skills with the ability to work remotely and supporting other sites as and when necessary.
You will be someone with good communication and organisation skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of accuracy when working to tight deadlines and under pressure.
A valid driving licence is required for this role.
