Job description
Duties:
· To be aware, understand and actively promote the requirements and needs of all operational roles in successfully achieving the agreed customer requirements.
· To be prepared to work flexibly in order to cover all hours stipulated by the Quality & Customisation Team Leader.
· To complete and record QC inspections including MSQP in accordance with the Company and Customer PDI Standards and procedures.
· Accurately assigning items to the appropriate vehicles as per the customer requirements.
· Ensuring that loose items are removed and recorded in line with the Company and Customer requirements.
· To liaise with Quality & Customisation Team Leader regarding QC & Customisation operations.
· To ensure all necessary equipment is checked and maintained in good order and any discrepancies reported to Quality & Customisation Team Leader.
· To access and update systems in accordance with either Company or Customer policies or procedures.
· General housekeeping of work area
· Attend daily Team Talk as required
· Communicate any issues to the Quality & Customisation Team Leader which impact production flow or quality standards.
· To assist with/or provide staff training and development as required to meet with Customisation, Quality Control, Load Lane Inspection and Loose Item activities.
· To maintain good communications with the rest of the team.
· Any other incidental duties required to provide service to the customer.
Responsibilities:
· To be aware of the Company’s responsibilities in relation to Health and Safety and its accreditation to ISO 9001.
· Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to, all environmental issues and aspects within ISO 14001 standard. These requirements may not only be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business.
· Awareness, knowledge and training pertaining to all energy management issues and aspects within ISO 50001 standard. These requirements will include ongoing site improvements and implementation of more efficient uses of energy through local and organisational objectives, planning and policy and may not be relevant to this job description, but all associated and other tasks that may be required in the day to day running of the business.
· To ensure all checks laid down by VWG are adhered to.
· To comply with all on site VWG/GBATS operating standards.

· Authority is given to administer all duties relating to the post described above.
