About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Quality team in Merthyr Tydfil as a Quality Engineer.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Extending Material Masters in SAP to add quality grading/conditions
Dealing with the “Child” Non-conformances through the process
Dealing with Internal Concessions / Permits through the process
Prep, organise, chair and documentation associated with PMR/MRB
Attendance at Drawing/design review boards
Facilitation of RCCAs
Attendance at Design Reviews
Review of changes ahead of CSB/CCBs
Review / actions for DRACAS
Ownership of CARs through the process
Ownership of internal / external escapes through the process
Pre-PCA & PCA support activities
Test witnessing / trials support for NRE
Perform Internal Audits

Required skills, qualifications and experience

  • Experience of facilitating RCCAs through the process
  • SAP Quality Management and Material Management experience
  • Quality Engineering experience in terms of dealing with containment, non-conformances and related process
  • Dealing with stakeholders of all levels and backgrounds including engineering, production and operations/manufacturing
  • MS Office experience in particular Powerpoint and Excel
  • Ability to work with data and make decisions.
  • Ideally engineering experience and ability to interpret drawings and manufacturing data packs.
