Shift Pattern:
- You will work a combination of weekdays and Sundays.
- Each week you will rotate between 6 am-2 pm, 2 pm-10 pm and 10 pm-6 am - Monday to Friday
- Sunday night shifts are 12 hours 6 pm – 6 am
- Friday morning shifts after 12 hours – 6 am – 6 pm
- Complete a variety of factory audits such as Good Manufacturing Practice, Glass & Plastic, Cleaning Standards etc and update the Quality Manager on daily findings/ incidents.
- Investigate issues in collaboration with factory team’s and drive solutions.
- Act as a Quality Champion for the factory
- Investigate all Non-Conformances and devise corrective actions using root cause analysis.
- Complete site calibrations for scales and probes
- Complete micro testing ensuring the site schedule is updated.
- Ensure all Quality or Food Safety investigations are undertaken, and reports communicated into the Quality Manager.
- Support Taste Panels and collate/ communicate results.
- Carry out post clean inspection, utilizsing Adenosine triphosphate and allergen swabbing to verify clean & cleaning standard audits carried out as scheduled.
- Filing of daily paperwork and retained samples, archiving in a manner which ensures rapid access for complaints and audits.
- Support in the accurate and timely investigation of all customer complaints
- Testing and Inspection of Chocolate Tankers where required
- Raise Waivers as and when required.
- Critical Control Point Training of Operation staff
- Sign off all rework / repair work once complete.
- Completion of Technical Tracker Daily
- Ideally you will have some experience within a food manufacturing environment with an understanding of quality audits.
- Passion for product quality and food safety
- An understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point principles (HACCP training would be advantageous)
- Great ability to problem solve.
- Computer and System Literate
- Fast learner
- Strong administration skills and attention to detail
- To be able to have the confidence and ability to challenge.
