As a Publicist, you’ll be leading our clients and teams as we maintain and build profiles of some
of the UK’s most exciting and talented people. This is the perfect role for someone who wants to take their career to the next level.
This role requires an editorial eye, passion for the entertainment industry, commitment, attention to detail, initiative, huge amounts of enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task quickly.
You'll be…
- Be our eyes and ears on all coverage, from knowing what's pending and flagging the moment it goes live, reminding the team of upcoming live dates, through to compiling.
- Lead and ensure the day-to-day delivery and execution of each clients publicity strategy and plans.
- Be proactive and reactive to media relations, pitch stories and ideas to media outlets on behalf of the client.
- Work to create and implement imaginative PR campaigns
- Collaborate with clients’ wider teams provide them with brilliant communications advice and hands-on support so information is clear and our people know what they have to do.
- Arrange publicity opportunities such as interviews, photoshoots, speaking engagements and appearances.
- Draft, brief and oversee talking points for the client and help them prepare for press opportunities.
- Build and maintain successful relationships with the media, editorial, broadcast and other outlets.
- Oversee clients social media activity to ensure that the client is viewed in a positive light at all times.
- Effectively report and showcase the impact of your work, campaigns and coverage to clients on a monthly and annual basis.
- Promote the client or company image in a successful manner
- Contribute to new business development
You'll have…
- Previous PR / Publicist experience.
- Know your press - from your magazines, online, to your newspapers and podcasts, TV and radio shows.
- Have a passion for media, news and editorial - be it social, traditional, TV - you'll know what's happening in the world (lead on the daily news meetings).
- Be a social butterfly who knows about all of the events, film releases, home entertainment launches, national campaigns and holidays, red carpets and parties happening across London.
- Have brilliant written and verbal communication with strong PowerPoint, Word and Excel skills.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Logistics: Soho based office. Happy to travel around London for client meetings is essential.
