About the role

You will work within the Health Protection Team, of West Northamptonshire Public Health on projects that support the delivery of ‘Core Offers’ and other Healthcare Public Health functions.

What will you be doing?

You will be work in collaboration with key partners, undertaking research and supporting processes that inform the commissioning of jointly agreed core-offer healthcare services. This will include undertaking tasks such as needs and impact assessments, service reviews, service evaluation, economic reviews, service redesign, performance monitoring and procurement.

About you

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified or have equivalent experience in a Public Health or related subject as well as project management. They will have a reasonable level of knowledge of epidemiologic intelligence and have experience and skills in analysing data and intelligence. They will have good communication skills, which will be utilised to produce and present a range of documents and have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The applicant should be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

This is an exciting opportunity to support the provision of Core-Offer services that supports local and national Healthcare Public Health priorities and Service Plans and Strategies of Public Health and Wellbeing and the Northamptonshire ICB.

The council is in the process of implementing a new pay structure and terms and conditions which will be applicable to this role. The outcome could result in a future variation to the advertised salary, and this will be discussed at interview.
