Lionsgate is a leading global filmed entertainment studio and is a major producer and distributor of motion pictures, home entertainment, television programming, video on demand and digitally delivered content and is at the forefront of driving growth from digital platforms.
The Marketing Assistant (UK) is responsible for a wide range of tasks which offer essential support for the marketing team within the Lionsgate motion picture group. Working across all levels of the department from the head of marketing to managers or coordinators and social/digital leads; the ideal candidate will offer their excellent organisation skills to help streamline processes and keep the team on track. They will leave a footprint on all Lionsgate film releases, from straight-to-video titles to franchise epics like JOHN WICK, THE HUNGER GAMES and SAW.
Key Responsibilities
To aid and support the Marketing team in all aspects of the marketing process across the lifecycle of any given film (from theatrical through home video and digital windows)
Demonstrate excellent organisation skills as the asset guardian for all film materials such as key-art, presentations, briefing forms, trailers, TV spots and featurettes
Supply assets to agency and third-party partners, from PR & Creative and Promotional & publishing partners
Organise team meetings, internal and external, keeping minutes and action-points up to date.
Manage company-wide marketing communications for key campaign updates such as trailer launches and campaign summaries
Work closely with the Digital Marketing Manager & inhouse designer to ensure Lionsgate UK website & social channels are kept relevant and up-to-date
Manage marketing distribution lists for corporate events like movie premieres/screenings/slate presentations
Work closely with Digital Marketing & external social media agencies to keep the social media content calendar on track with relevant copy/assets
Upload content to the official Lionsgate UK website, social channels or YouTube channel
Provide accounting support for the marketing team by becoming an expert in finance systems for the creation of PO’s, processing invoices and keeping P&A and P&L’s accurate
Organise quarterly sales presentations and liaise with marketing managers to build presentation decks
Key Skills
Ability to demonstrate similar experience, ideally within the industry
Highly organised and capable of working under pressure
Strong knowledge of film and passion for the film industry
Good presentation skills
