Barnet CAMHS has an exciting opportunity for a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist to join a strong and established network of Child psychotherapists working in Barnet CAMHS and across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. You will be working alongside the Lead Child Psychotherapist, in a multi-disciplinary team who are very welcoming to newly qualified staff members. You will be part of an experienced and reflective multi-disciplinary team offering generic and specialist assessments and providing complex case consultations. As well as individual child psychotherapy, we also offer parent child relationship focused interventions and an opportunity to work in the MBTC pathway. You will receive regular clinical and management supervision within an environment that values the mutual support and skills of team members. There will be opportunity to work across other specialist pathways and to engage in a wide range of CPD opportunities.
- To provide Barnet CAMHS with a high quality evidence based Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamicservice to children, their families, carers and professional networks, including assessment and therapy to patients and their families.
- To provide generic assessment and treatment of Children and Young People entering the Barnet CAMHs service.
- To provide specialist advice and consultation regarding diagnoses and treatment to CAMHS colleagues, external agencies, working both autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.
- The post holder will provide advice and consultation to other clinicians in the service.
- The post holder will make positive contributions to any future service developments and the delivery of high quality, evidence based care pathways.
BEH manages the renowned North London Forensic Services (NLFS) which is the lead provider of forensic mental health services; that managed the devolved New Models of care budget, it delivers MH care across some of the prisons, and provides MH services as HM Young Offenders Institutions in Aylesbury.
