Job Title: Proxy Product Owner (Technology)
Location: London
Corporate Title: Assistant Vice President
As a Product Owner you will be responsible for the product lifecycle from conception through to go-live. You will define a strategic vision, working closely with business stakeholders to ensure benefit realisation.
The role is part of Anti-Financial-Crime (AFC) Technology that provides the tools required by the AFC function. AFC is responsible for defining, maintaining, and enforcing an effective risk management framework to reduce the risk that Deutsche Bank may be used to facilitate financial crime. Its role includes setting minimum standards and monitoring adherence to those standards, as well as defining and implementing controls that align with Deutsche Bank’s global legal requirements.

Your key responsibilities
- Define and shape the Product Vision, Strategy, Roadmap and Backlog, crafting & elaborating the artefacts needed to create flow of value
- Manage the team backlog, including leading the refinement process and setting priorities
- Find creative ways to elicit requirements and information in a global and remote working environment. In addition, support improving the team mindset and skills in Design and Product Thinking
- Setting value-based goals for the product through various Metrics and Key Performance Indicator (KPIs) and owning value realisation and measurement
- Collaborating with other Product Owners and stakeholders to manage dependencies across teams and value streams, and to help align teams against a common vision
Your skills and experience
- Experience of working in an agile environment, practicing Scrum, Kanban, eXPerience (XP) or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Technical knowledge/ experience such as database entity models, Jira, Registered Jack (R4J), Confluence, Structured Query Language (SQL) and use case analysis/ swim lane creation
- Ability to write feature acceptance criteria and define Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for products
- Create user stories in INVEST format and help development team define and refine the acceptance criteria
- Excellent written, spoken, and interpersonal communication skills
