Job description
A leading NorthWest Biotech business is currently recruiting for an experience and versatile EA to support their CEO. The ideal candidate will be some who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience of providing comprehensive support at C-Suite level, ideally gained within a start up business or SME. This role will not only involve performing standard EA duties but will also play an integral part in various projects, research initiatives and also be involved in data analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling administrative tasks with precision whilst contributing to high-level decision-making processes.
The main duties of the role will include:-
- Create presentations and reports
- Organise and prepare meetings and meeting agendas, and take minutes during meetings
- Gather feedback for CEO across the business and provide constructively
- Perform research across a variety of functions including marketing, people and culture, fundraising, primarily compiling data on other businesses and best practices
- Perform calculations and checks to verify assumptions and modelsLiaise with clients and business guests
- Prepare IT and other equipment when necessary
- Maintain a strong working relationship with other departments, including IT, sales, and PR
- Book business travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, and lodgings for senior management and other staff members
- Be prepared to support other business areas when required

- Strong organisation, presentation, and clerical skills
- Clear communication skills
- Data driven - effective basic calculation skills and ability to explore challenging questions simply and analytically
- Effective at researching non specialist topics
- Willing to proactively email and call
